Acer Arena is a state-of-the-art indoor arena which was constructed for the 2000 Olympic Games. At capacity Acer Arena sits up to 21,000 people. It is fully air conditioned and capable of holding a wide range of functions, including concerts and sporting events. Adjoining Acer Arena is a 3,400 space multi-storey car park, designed for total discharge in 1 hour. To its credit, Acer Arena has achieved the highest acoustic performance rating, differentiating it from the rest. The project was completed in early 1999.
