About this Project
Blacksmith’s Workshop is an adaptive re-use of the heritage workshop in the North Eveleigh Railway yard precinct, which involves the creation of a car park and permanent market. The existing steel trusses obtained from removed site buildings have been used to create an area for signage that captures the history and heritage of the site, as well as acting as a promotional tool for the venue. The new Eveleigh Market is also intended to be a place of public entertainment which includes films and live performances. Altus Page Kirkland provided full Quantity Surveying pre-contract services including preparation of the pre-tender estimate. During the post-contract stage of the project, we provided our expertise in the financial assessment of the contract variations. |
